Competition. . .we took 5th place!

  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: people screaming in fear
  • Reading: dr.jeckyl and mr.hyde
  • Watching: lost tapes
  • Playing: Pokemon Platinum and Zelda the Wind Waker
  • Eating: holloween cookies

Okay on Sat. was a blast! i got to see my friend Cactus in the Frazno State Marching Band!

Though, the sad thing is we took 5th out of 7th. Our band was 11 points away for 3rd to be honest and like 1.5 for 4th. Funny thing is, if we were in AAA we would have gotten at least 3rd. And the judges have seen the other bands earlier in the season and it was thier first time seeing us, giving us the disadvantage. Heck, even the bands who placed higher than us thought we should have been in a higher ranking.

There was only a few problems, mostly spacing and allinement, occassionally steping in time was a problem, not really. There was this one place where the set was off, but everyone was in step for 3 sets. Another good thing is we projected the sound more and we were slightly more in tune than the other bands. What really hurt us was the company front 3 sets before the ending. ^^;

Other than that we had alot of fun! :D I can't wait for next week, which is our last performance in Lamoore. ^^

On Sat. i have a competition in frezno at 8am and i wont be back til 1am on Sun. wish me luck! and i'm also checking how u guys r doing as well since i haven't been on lately...^^;
